It’s not the size of the object you’re designing the UX of, it’s the size of the UX you’re putting into the object.

Title: Let’s Be Frank
Context: User experience as a discipline is not confined to pixels and web pages as much as we may believe that it does.
Synopsis: Say what you will about Frank Gehry, he’s a guy consumed with the idea of “user experience”. Not in the traditional sense maybe, but certainly as an architect he designs and deconstructs space based on how it will affect and influence people’s perceptions of how they interact with his creations. That sounds an awful lot like user experience if you ask me. We could learn a thing or two from this architectural iconoclast. Inspiration and good ideas operate independent of their specific disciplines. Lessons in creativity and exploration are easily transferable and should be consumed regardless of their origin.
Best Bit: “Great design is also about science and technology, science that advances our thinking and opens up new possibilities.”
