Title: Washing Machine for Men
Context: I’m sure we’ve all tried to do laundry in a washing machine we’ve never seen before, but how many of us have been successful?
Synopsis: No one knows what “Eco Perfect” means. Those meaningless icons just make me feel stupid. Why do the people who make appliance user interfaces hate the rest of the world so? How come their marketing teams write all of the UI copy? Is it really necessary to only hire icon designers who flunked out of art school? I don’t know if we’ll ever get the answers to any of these questions nor if we’ll ever find a use for that load full of socks and underwear that came out of the machine pink. Perhaps some questions just aren’t meant o come out in the wash?
Best Bit: “Therefore I had to tell her I was a total idiot, looking for a ‘washing machine for total idiots’.”
