Title: 10 Ways to Be Creative Like a Kid
Context: You’re as old as you feel. Same goes for your designs.
Synopsis: My wife always tells people that she has 4 kids: our 3 children and me. I take tremendous pride in that. Kids are fearless in the face of creative challenges. Unlike adults who carry with them a lifetime of creative bad habits and reasons to say “no”. It is time for us to stop saying “no” unless we are saying “no” to “not saying yes”. I mean, say “no” to saying “yes” to “no”. Whatever. You know what I mean. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to draw some pictures of dinosaurs driving rocket ships with my crayons…
Best Bit: “One way for adults to attack creative blocks or improve your creativity in general is to revert to doing what kids – who are often at the creative pinnacles of their lives – do naturally.”
