You may think about your business, but do you design think about it?

Title: How Design Thinking Transformed Airbnb from a Failing Startup to a Billion Dollar Business
Context: The key word in central phrase is actually “thinking”, not “design”.
Synopsis: There are blueprints for success that, if followed, inevitably lead to the pinnacle of prosperity. Why deviate? Why think? Solutions all scale and responses are all predictable. And if you’re not sure, check the metrics for therein lies the gospel truth. Yes, yes, you have ideas and understanding and creativity. Wonderful. Unless—and this is just a possibility mind you—unless, the rules are really unwritten and data is not inviolate and insight is the true engine of innovation. You can design a solution, but you must think about, and indeed understand, the problem first.
Best Bit: “…going out to meet customers in the real world is almost always the best way to wrangle their problems and come up with clever solutions.”
