"Culture is not a crime" laptop sticker

Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these your employees, you did it to me.

Title: What Great Companies Know About Culture
Context: An organization is only as good as its people. Everyone says it, not everyone means it. But I do. Because you guys are the wind beneath my wings…
Synopsis: When the going gets tough, the stupid take it out on their employees. Smart, talented, dedicated people do not grow on trees. Well at least until we sort this whole cloning thing out they don’t. But even then, keeping your workforce honed, motivated and happy isn’t going to get any easier or be any less important to your company’s bottom line. The cold, hard, bean-counting fact is that attracting and keeping the best talent out there (of which I count you all amongst) is the single most important investment a business can make in its own success. You are your employers’ stock in trade, not their product portfolio, and either they invest in this part of their business or business suffers. True story.
Best Bit: “In a world where competition for talent is global, star performers seek companies with values that mirror their own.”
